Wow, I haven't updated my blog in a while. Between Moving, work and djing I have had no time.
But now I'm all moved in and ready to get back to work. My weekly Wednesdays at Gestalt have been going well and in October I have some special guests coming in so stay tuned. Also at Gestalt, Halloween is also the three year anniversary for them. We're planning a big party.
I'd like to give a shout out to SamFM who had me out at Double Dutch twice this month.
Its always fun to play for a packed dance floor.
I'm going to be doing some fun stuff this month so keep your eye out. Also now that I have a place to play, I'm going to be putting some mixes up. I know, finally.

The last Hold Your Horses.
Last nite I played the very last Hold Your Horses. For those of you who don't know, hold your horses was started by Richard Oh! over two years ago as an inde dance nite. Its deep in the T.L.
(a very ghetto neighborhood in S.F.) so the people who come are the people who really want to dance, which makes it a really fun place to dj. It being the last one, the kids where especially rawkus. The dance floor was packed with sweaty hipsters saying goodbye to a club that has been a mainstay in the San Francisco underground for the past two years.
Richard Oh who started the nite over two years ago will be moving to Argentina, where he has taken up a residency at a club. He will be missed, but we wish him luck.

July 2nd, dribblenaut.com launch party.
So I'm djing a web site launch party this thursday july 2nd, at the Space Gallery on polk street. The web site is called dribblenaut.com.
Its a site about wine, and they do the usual pairings with foods. But they go a step further and also pair wine with music. This seemed like such a fun idea to me that I had to be a part of it. Its free, there will be lots of good wine there, and lots of good music. What more could you ask for?

Back to synth basics
the post below this one is a link to a record by Black Meteoric Star.
It was all recorded live by Gavin Russom using analog synthesizers, and no computers, DAWs, or vst plug ins. I really need to see this live.

Thursday june 25th I'll be Djing @ the monthly art show at Gestalt(3159 16th st.)from 8pm-12:30 ish.
I'll be spinning mostly 60's soul and 60's rock n' roll. But I'll be throwing in some hip hop later in the night, and a little emo for the curator matt.
